[mythtv-users] Magewell Pro capture cards

Magewell Pro capture cards are expensive, but I have found that they work
extremely well. I found an open box card for half price on eBay:

If you make use of all four inputs, then that is less expensive than a
HD-PVR2 or Colossus2.

The big advantage to this card is that it can pass-through surround sound
bitstreams! I have found very few options which allow that. You do have to
use the Magewell API to pass the bitstream through, and I have written an
app which takes care of that for use with MythTV:
