Changing from Wayland to Xorg is normally a simple selection on the
login screen somewhere - I think it is a "gear" icon.  It does move
around from one version of the GUI to another.  So just log out and
see if you can find it.  A net search should tell you where it is.
Both Wayland and Xorg are normally installed, so you can just switch
between them as desired - no need to reinstall.
