For ages my port-forwards on the modem to a suse-leap-15.3 worked fine
suddenly they stopped
lots-n-lots-n-lots of spelunking: port forward to that machine fails (but other machines work)
re-installed but no port-forward changes
installed suse-tumbleweed and all port forward does work, but no matter what firmware the haupuge tuners would not work.
licking my wounds I installed lubuntu-21.10. Every thing works

I restored database (mythconerg_restore_pl) and was rewarded by a string of error messages

...
slave-backend bla bla
no such tuner bla bla
...

before I set about trying to row-the-atlantic

I *can* scan all my Movies but how can I preserve (the hard gained) meta-data on a few thousand Videos ?

PS I did resetup, ALL is working again.
PPS Ubuntu is modestly horrid, being obsessed with nano and (polite words) the attitude of "you're an idiot, WE know about security"
