My experience with my HDHomeRuns, was, for a while quite frustrating. I got
the same pixelation issues, despite having good signal strength when using
the UDP (as opposed to the http) protocol stream. I tracked it down to a
faulty USB hub that was attached to the same computer, which was
interfering with the network card - don't ask me how. When I removed it,
all was good.
