Try looking at some of the random local HD's they pack in 1 main network
with 5 subchannels... 19 megabits mpeg2 can't handle that much without
looking like 'potato'..
For example:
*KPXC-TV* *DENVER, CO*
59-1 18.3 ION ION
59-2 18.4 qubo qubo
59-3 18.5 IONPlus ION Plus
59-4 18.6 Shop Infomercials
59-5 18.7 HSN HSN
59-6 18.8 QVC QVCThat said, most are better, but even the major networks
(ABC/NBC/CBS) pack 2-4 subchannels in addition to their 1080i or 720p main
payload.

I for one will like to see how much better ATSC3 looks...but I bet HEVC
will just turn 'potato' into potato salad. Marginally better, but worse for
you. :)
