[mythtv-users] mythfrontend crashes

As of lately (last 2 weeks perhaps, after an upgrade offered by the ubuntu
software updater, 20.04) mythfrontend often crashes. Some of the time it
can't be restarted; some other times it crashes again soon after
restarting; some other times it works.

In the crash that just happened, I see the following lines in red in the
log:

[AVHWDeviceContext @ 0x56345b0e1380] libva:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so init failed
[AVHWDeviceContext @ 0x56345b001700] libva:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so init failed
Cannot load libcuda.so.1

I have no idea what they mean nor what the cure might be.

On crashes, the log always ends with something like

Any suggestions?
