I haven't noticed sync problems recently with normal decoding in master,
but usually this box is SD only; 2 x 2.6 GHz cpus, OpenGL YV12, both
deinterlacer rates medium quality with other boxes unticked. Typing
emails with the setup screen potentially active is risky!

ISTR that sync issues happen when frames have to be dropped because of
high cpu load.

For a long time I have reported panning issues in HD but no-one else
seemed to have them. 4-core 3 GHz ffmpeg more-or-less fixed it, or the
leanfront Firestick 4K (which demands non-interlaced input) or DLNA.
