There are so many settings that it would be a mammoth task to manually
review them all.  Most settings are stored in the mythconverg.settings
table, and all the card setup is in the mythconverg.capturecard and
associated tables.  So you can use SQL to dump those tables in
readable form if you want to see exactly what is there.  Using the
sort options will allow you to do dumps from old and new systems and
compare them.  It is also possible to load a copy of a table into a
new system using a different name for the table (eg settings_old for
settings) and then use SQL to compare the contents of the tables and
flag any differences.  But you need to be reasonably good as using SQL
to do things like that.
