I have it showing signs of working now with a kubuntu laptop, HD size
120 GB and wifi in and out of the router. Playback hangs a lot and I
don't think I've heard any audio, but the selection menu seems to work.

master from the ppa, mythtv-setup.real, mythbackend, and at present
mythfrontend.real can't find the DB....

..............

And a similar setup on a faster 18.04 machine with ethernet link to
router and perhaps 20 recordings from DVB-T (mpeg2 video and mp2 sound)
showed the menu and the grid view but playback had bad aspect ratio and
no sound. As I saw in a review of a new carbon-nanotube microprocessor
from MIT: it works, but no need for a sales team yet :-)
