The ethernet adapter works with the fire stick 4K, but the performance 
with 5 Ghz wifi is fine.

The fire stick 4K works just as well as the shield as far as I can tell. 
See the notes in the wiki on setting up mythfrontend for android, there 
are some specific things to do for fire4k.
