[mythtv-users] live TV plays, recordings fail

this is what the pastebin reports without the space:
 mythbackend.log doesn't appear to be installed, or isn't in your PATH,
aborting.
I think it is there:
daryl at trieli:~$ ls -al /var/log/mythtv
total 146548
drwxr-sr-x  2 syslog adm        4096 Oct 18 00:06 .
drwxrwxr-x 18 root   syslog     4096 Nov  2 08:29 ..
-rw-r--r--  1 syslog adm     5149031 Nov  2 09:47 mythbackend.log
-rw-r--r--  1 syslog adm    10487573 Sep 27 00:06 mythbackend.log.1
 And "cat /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log"  produces the log in the
terminal but adding " | pastebinit"
returns this generic response:
daryl at trieli:~$ cat /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/
I tried to post the whole log, but it got bumped, prety bad when you need
help to get help
