I get those errors also and they have never caused any problems...
Here is how I run mine.. I place 6200ch in usr/bin/
My command line is /usr/bin/ 6200ch -g 0xb81619fffe2805bd 13
g is your guid ,13 can be any valid channel number...
The one thing that gave me a fit when I first ran firewire was the
vendor numbers.. Did you compile in the correct vendor numbers? If you
didn't i can email mine to you at your gmail account.....
