I tried booting the frontend box to kernel 5.0.3-200, and updated to mythtv
30.0-3 today and still see very choppy HD playback. Seems like every
kernel version greater than 4.18.16-300 and vaapi has had this problem, at
least for me. 4.18.16-300 and vaapi still works great tho...
