[mythtv-users] Can't get my projector to work with Myth - HDMI Switch

I have a monoprice HDMI splitter that I've been using for years with no
problem. It takes the input from my receiver and sends the output to both
my TV and projector at the same time. So far, not issue with my Nvidia
shield getting confused but when I used a Linux frontend I had to direct
connect the projector once and download the edid.bin file. Then I had to
enter this into the xorg.conf like this

Option "CustomEDID" //MORE STUFF HERE

That's not a one line fix but is a start for googling more information.
