i'm on 5.1.9-zen1-1-zen from arch linux and no problem also. but
sometime back i had to disable a few modules thatsound like what you
are seeing. i have blacklisted the following for some time now:
blacklist lirc_ziloginstall rc_core /bin/falseinstall rc_hauppauge
/bin/false
maybe by now that is no longer necessary but i control my box via
firewire so i have just left the file in modprobe.d
