If you switch from DVB-T to DVB-T2 (German and KPN/Netherlands variants)
you may get additional problems with encrypted channels, HEVC decoding
and fast-forward/fast-backward. None of the MythTV versions supports
DVB-T2 encryption. MythTV 29 does not work, if the audio stream contains
5.1 surround audio (patch is available here:
https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/4544). MythTV 30 does not support Nvidia
HEVC hardware decoding. Since MythTV until now does not contain an own
HEVC/H.265 parser, fast-forward and fast-backward does not work exactly

Personally I use DVB-T2 for unencrypted channels with MythTV 29 and with
Nvidia decoding.
