To assign a key to set bookmarks:
Setup
Edit Keys
TV Playback
SETBOOKMARK
Assign a key

To automatically set a bookmark every time you exit playback (I prefer 
this, it works very well):
Setup
Video
Playback
General Playback
Action on Playback Exit
Save Position and Exit
