If the other suggestions don't fix it then you may have the same problem I
had on my GT 740 (I think it's a 740...)

I wish Fedora has as good as documentation as Arch but oh well...

Pay close attention to the force composition settings. You can configure
these from nvidia-xconfig I think they're under advanced.
