good point on 4k. Currently on a 42" 1080p panasonic plasma tv. about 10year old now so wonder how long it'll last for. no reason to replace it so it'll probably run till it's dead.
still cant bite the bullet on a new FE. 95% sure i've found an issue with my channel setup, and i've been playing around the avsync2&vaapi2 with the current fixes/30 git commit specifically with the AVsync2 changes. celeron FE seems to currently work best on vaapi2/avsync1.
