[mythtv-users] storage2 unwritable?

After I posted this I realized that one test was just on storage 1, so I re
ran it on storage 2:

 daryl at trieli:~$ cd /mnt/storage2
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$ echo "test string" >testfile
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$ ls -al testfile
-rw-rw-r-- 1 daryl daryl 12 Sep  6 16:56 testfile
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$ cat testfile
test string
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$ rm testfile
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$ ls -al testfile
ls: cannot access 'testfile': No such file or directory
daryl at trieli:/mnt/storage2$

I need help seeing the problem.
