Thanks for the further information.
I am confused by how this has been launched with a focus on network streaming when all the same can be achieved using just a USB tuner by what others have replied.
I guess as it is sold for a Rpi at least it should have decent linux drivers/support.
Probably worth mentioning I have come across a project called satpi on github-barracuda which may offer a similar wrapper as minisatip but perhaps is more focused to the pi device.
As a minisatip or similar layer is required if it is reliable it may work out but I think I will continue to investigate and see what works and what doesn't before giving it a try as MythTV with multituner if possible support is a must.
