Hi Peter,

Thanks for your quick response, that’s problem 1 resolved.

Unfortunately, OpenGL Slim is only any good for the DVB live tv & recordings, for the HDPVR live tv & recordings it is unwatchable due to constant freezes.

I do know that the hardware is capable of playing this content, as it works in Kodi, so I suspect it’s a case of setting up a custom profile, but I don’t really know where to start with that as I’ve only ever used the pre-defined profiles.

Regards,
Dave

Hi Peter,

It looks like I've cracked it, my new playback profile works for both DVB & HDPVR content and I've managed to set up the remote to fumction the way I would like it (almost).

I have just one further question - is there a way I can call up the on-screen keyboard in live TV so that I can enter channel numbers and change to a new channel easily? At the moment, I'm calling up the TV Guide, but it's a bit of a clunky way to change channels.

Thank you so much for all your work on this, I'm sure there must be many other people who would benefit from MythFrontend on Android, for them, I'll include the link to the MythTV wiki page:

Regards,

Dave.
