Finally got it working, but I may have to tweak it. I don't necessarily
want to put the results in a separate directory. I like the renaming, but
if I have bad data then I could end up with a name clash. So I may force it
to keep the same naming as the orignal file, just transcode to mpg (for
mpeg2) and .mkv for H264 recordings.
