That works too - the mythfrontend user and the "mythtv" user are both
members of the "mythtv" group, if everything was installed correctly,
and they will both have all the necessary group memberships to access
the things they need.  But running things as "mythtv" is rather more
difficult than using the mythfrontend user.  That user is normally the
one that is running the desktop, and mythfrontend is normally run from
the desktop.  Mythtv-setup is easiest to run the same way - from a
desktop icon or menu, running as the desktop user.
