Well, I thought I was.

Those patches stopped the segfaults when tuning some channels.

After going back to that version for stability, I am seeing other 
issues.   Several channels have audio, but the video is black.    I am 
using minimyth2 for frontends and that hasn't been upgraded so it is 
definitely a backend issue and not frontend.
