>> All good.
>> The MythWeb bit is aweful. (Seemingly) in a effort to effort to prove how clever they are the developers have deffered to the mobile phone set, with glitz and glare rather than making a quick usable presentation. It takes twice as long to scan your recording setup as the original mythweb.
>> I tried to get rid of the admin login, its password or to set a trivial password. All were greeted with the YELLOW warning line. I don?t need some snotty nosed dev telling me when I do or don?t need a password!

First in the cold light of day I read my posting and find it rude. I was frustrated and did not mean it to be. I am sorry.
Second Mark’s 2c worth (next message) is spot on. I have no quibble.
I use the term scan meaning eyeball.
What I did not know is that mythweb is still supported. That must be a lot of work and if it were to be discontinued in favour of the builtin server then I offered critiqe of the builtin server’s appearence.
Passwords are fine and no doubt important in some contexts, what enraged me was that I was unable to set user and password a/b that someone decided a password of b was inadequit.
In any event my stirring would have caused some consideration of the pretty vs functional aspects of the builtin web server.
Thanks
James
