[mythtv-users] pre/post roll not working even though multiple free tuners and multi-rec even with just two back to back

You need to set "Avoid Back-to-back recordings" to Always. Then you will
get the pre/post roll.
Whenever you have back-to-back recordings the pre and post roll do not
happen.
