I booted into Windows 10 and used Hauppauge Capture. I was able to
record for a straight one hour before i killed the stream. With kernel
'4.4.87-gentoo-r1', cat /dev/video0 dies after ten minutes of recording
with the message

[  104.970691] hdpvr 1-5:1.0: config call request for value 0x700 returned 1
[  885.828587] hdpvr 1-5:1.0: config call request for value 0x800
returned -110
[  885.828635] hdpvr 1-5:1.0: transmit worker exited

Wonder if the kernel/driver is at fault here.
