[mythtv-users] Updated to 0.29 now can't connect to backend

I think you misunderstood you don't have to mess with MySql just change 
some settings in myth-setup.

I would stop mythbackend before starting mythtv-setup. Don't rely on 
mythtv-setup stopping it for you it rarely works!

Then on the first page of settings '1. General' there are settings on 
there that you need to play with until you get it to work. What I have 
on a master BE with a frontend and allowing remote FE's to connect are 
'Listen on All IP Addresses' should be checked, 'The primary IP address' 
should be the IP address other frontends will use to connect to the BE 
not a localhost address and 'This server is the Master Backend should be 
checked. The names may be slightly different since I'm on 30.0-pre but 
should give you an idea what to change.
