I should add there are many versions of dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw about 
which is an added confusion and you will probably need to upgrade that 
now it's properly supported.  I got mine from 
http://palosaari.fi/linux/v4l-dvb/firmware/Si2168/Si2168-B40/ and just 
used the latest version ie 4.0.25.  Earlier versions might not do HD 
too.  My checksum:

soup-dragon% md5sum /lib/firmware/dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw
c8e089c351e9834060e962356f8697b8  /lib/firmware/dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw

Make sure you check the dmesg output for what version of firmware it is 
loading: "si2168 5-0064: firmware version: B 4.0.25" is what I get.
