I'm afraid I have always found the MythArchive logs and, particularly,
the failure messages singularly unhelpful. I've just archived a short
recording, cut and converted to .mpg, to .iso without problems, using
Master without my usual tweaks aimed at DVD creation.
This is what I see:
[john at HP_Box logs]$ cd /home/john/mArchive/work
[john at HP_Box work]$ cd ..
[john at HP_Box mArchive]$ ls
config logs work
[john at HP_Box mArchive]$ cd logs
[john at HP_Box logs]$ ls -l
total 8
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 4766 Jan 7 14:20
mytharchivehelper.20180107142023.5055.log
[john at HP_Box logs]$ cd ..
[john at HP_Box mArchive]$ cd work
[john at HP_Box work]$ ls -l
total 341964
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 350169088 Jan 7 14:20 mythburn.iso
drwxrwxr-x. 2 john john 104 Jan 7 14:20 The Simpsons
[john at HP_Box work]$ cd "The Simpsons"
[john at HP_Box The Simpsons]$ ls -l
total 341600
-rw-r--r--. 1 john john 349321216 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg
-rw-r--r--. 1 john john 324170 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg.png
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 145610 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg.xml
[john at HP_Box The Simpsons]$
I won't paste the logfile here, but the full one, rather that the RHS
that is displayed. might give something useful.
