For reference: nvidia has H.265 decode support only on pascal based cards (GeForce 1000 series) with the exception of 2nd gen Maxwell based cards using a GM206 core (GTX750, GTX950 and 960 non-Ti only) - CPU decode so far I’ve seen that H.265 does seem to thread nicely on decode, my i7 3770K (4 core 8 thread cpu) handles 4K HDR decoding @ 24fps but it takes a beating getting well above 50% usage.
