[mythtv-users] successful upgrades to ubuntu 18.04 from 16.04?

I've only upgraded one backend that I rarely use the frontend on. The
remote control issues seem like a deal-breaker to me. The old system seemed
to "just work" (for values including my equipment), the new system less so.
If someone offered a good how-to to get my MCE remotes working, it might be
more tempting to upgrade.
