[mythtv-users] Raspberry Pi , Power Outage and Mythbackend

Hello,

My Mythtv backend server is on a UPS, while the Raspberry Pi frontend is
not (mainly used for LiveTV). Whenever there is a power outage, the
raspberry pi loses power however the backend continues to record and
keeps the tuner busy. Is it possible to release the tuner in such a
scenario?

I must add that the overlay file-system is working quite well on the Pi,
and filesystem corruption no longer a concern. The script i am using is at:
