This morning I opened up a remote front end and successfully ran
"mythmetadatalookup --refresh-all-artwork" and both FE's are artful, yeah.
and for comparison Mark, same command from remote FE:

daryl at CQ-Top:~$ sudo su
[sudo] password for daryl:
root at CQ-Top:/home/daryl# find / -name tvdb_api.py
find: ‘/run/user/1000/gvfs’: Permission denied
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/MythTV/ttvdb/tvdb_api.py
/home/daryl/Templates/201706261052/addons/script.mythbox/resources/lib/tvdb_api/tvdb_api.py
root at CQ-Top:/home/daryl#

A work-around, not a fix, any ideas?
