[mythtv-users] mytharchive problem - attempting to create iso

Hi all,

I am attempting to create a DVD that I will be gifting to someone and am
running into a few problems I can't find addressed in the faq:

I initially tried to create the ISO only, it had four video selections, and
two of them had single quotes in the file name. When I got to the "Log
Viewer" part, it appeared to work, except that it failed adding the two
files that had single quotes in their names.

I don't know if it was able to create the .iso file because I don't know
where to find it.

Anyway, subsequent attempts at creating DVDs or ISOs are failing and I
don't know why. The "Log Viewer" screen stays blank.

I have confirmed that I am able to write to the temp directory under
/var/lib/mythtvarchive .

Additionally, I tried deleting the contents of the temp directory there and
starting over, but still just get a blank "log viewer" screen.


The mythfrontend.log file reveals the following when I click the "Next"
button and it shows the blank log viewer screen:

Here I am stuck.... any ideas?

Also, where should an .ISO be created?   I needed it to create an ISO
because I don't think the CDROM on my main back/front end machine works
anymore.
