Turns out this was me being dumb! There was no problem with the pipe. The
call to the shell script didn't have the full path to where it lived - doh!
The command should have been:
EXEC cat /home/phill/.pme-password | sudo -kS
/usr/local/bin/phill/kodi_start_with_vpn.sh
philledwards at gmail.com_au-syd_D29AC.conf
