The point of the channel scan is to discover the frequencies and other information that identifies 
each of the channels found.

If all your tuners are using the same transmitter, obviously the information is going to be the same 
for all of them. That's what 'source' means. That means you only need scan once.

Now, if you had another antenna pointing a different direction, you'd ned a separate source and 
channel scan for that.
