Totally variable based on device. Some designs will
offer a smart value which indicates the the media
"wear" level (100 meaning no wear, 1 meaning
you have achieved the rated design lifetime), and/or
the percentage of spare sectors remaining (those
sectors reserved to deal with flash failures), often
with (something like) 10% remaining triggering the
"failing soon" event. And then some devices tell
you nothing useful. Of course, even the best
SSD can decide that today is a good day to die
(with no warning).
