[mythtv-users] Weird recording fail

The plot thickens...My frontend said the backend wasn't running, though top
said it was and when I started mythtv-setup, it asked if I wanted to stop
the backend like usual and if I wanted to start it when it was done like
usual and gave me a process id once it was started. I double checked that
the IP address is correct.

So I started mythbuntu-control-centre from the command line and it threw a
bunch of errors pasted below. I don't know what to make of this or how to
fix it. Or what caused it because like I said I did nothing to this
machine except play recordings before all this started happening. Maybe
this has something to do with the HDPVR not connecting?

Also this is a pretty old Mythbuntu (12.04) so maybe it's time to just
start over. Or maybe the HDD is getting senile. Any advice appreciated.
