It is known that some Qt releases(*) have various
bugs that manifest during exit (cleanup).  Only a
backtrace will provide the finger pointing (and then
spending time in the Qt bug tracker to see if there
is a matching report).


(*) The "new" Qt release process seems to be
more focused on features than extensive
regression testing during QA.  No software is
released bug free, but some recent variants
seem to have more than their fair share of
bugs.
