Almost true. If you need to blast using the IguanaIR then that means bypassing the kernel input 
method (devinput) and using LIRC directly.

Unfortunately, that also means downloading and compiling a version of LIRC with the IguanaIR driver 
in it - you don't get that automatically, although you do if you go the kernel input route.
