Damian:  I'm sad to hear that the 292e is still not cooperating.  I 
can't offer much more experience-based advice, since I don't have a 292e 
and my only accessible *buntu box can't find its DB.

I have found that using the Transport Editor, setting the BBC HD 
frequency -  in your case 770000000, B/W 8 MHz, QAM256, and system 
DVB-T2, and performing a scan of 'All known transports' with 'Look for 
other signalled transports' and 'Ignore timeouts' - will get me most of 
the way.  But it seems that the linking cannot extend to other T2 
transports, so if/when you get started you will probably have to fiddle 
some more.
