I don't have an account for ticket-filing, but maybe someone else will.

The change for scrolling is very simple: 

    in recordings-ui.xml s/captive/items/g


I also added recording length to Recording Details with this, but that may 
only matter to me: 

        <textarea name="timedate" from="basetextarea">
            <area>295,444,415,30</area>
            <align>hcenter</align>
<!-- recording length for Recording Details -->
            <template>%startdate%%| startyear%, %starttime% (%lentime%)</
template
        </textarea>

The <area> block is from my mythvcenter-wide and may need to be different for 
regular mythcenter.
