Just to confirm - did you check the media file actually has no audio track using mediainfo or something similar. Ie that it is not a silent playback issue or incompatable audio track or corrupt audio.

Anyone else having this issue?  I'll get a recording without sound, set it to delete and rerecord and the rerecording is fine.  Using Component Video and Optical Audio inputs.  The tuner itself only records a few times a weeks, so I'm wondering if the week gap between uses might be the issue.
