[mythtv-users] Ticket #12916: Mythfilldatabase not updating some programs correctly

This appears to have cleared up the problem. I generally only let mythfilldatabase run when it auto-schedules itself, but perhaps when I did the last update something got left around, since mythfilldatabase would have probably run twice that day.

Thanks for the help!

I'm sending this to the mythtv-users mailing list, which will be easier
for back and forth than the bug database. If you're not subscribed,
please subscribe at
http://lists.mythtv.org/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users or at least reply
all so the reply goes directly to me, too--it won't be completely lost.
Thanks.

This sounds like mythfilldatabase is using old, cached data. In theory,
this will only happen if you run mythfilldatabase a lot of times in a
short time period (as you might do when trying to diagnose a failure).
Can you do:

sudo rm -rf /tmp/myth*

and then re-run mythfilldatabase --dd-grab-all , again, and let us know
if it fixes all the occurrences to show what Schedules Direct shows.

Thanks,
Mike
