While the EIT improvements (mostly?) did not make the
cut for the release notes highlight list, there were patches
that improve EIT for at least some use cases.  However,
as EIT is so provider/location specific, it is often appropriate
to specify your location/provider so that others can tell
if your problems or resolutions are applicable for them.
