What does running "/opt/vc/bin/tvservice -s" in a terminal on the Pi show?

Mine gives "state 0x12000a [HDMI CEA (31) RGB lim 16:9], 1920x1080 @
50.00Hz, progressive" this is for UK 50Hz

If you do "/opt/vc/bin/tvservice -m CEA" and "/opt/vc/bin/tvservice -m
DMT" a list of supported modes from your TV/Monitor will be shown.
Setting "hdmi_group" and "hdmi_mode" in /boot/config.txt to whatever you
need may help. Remember to reboot the Pi for any changes to config.txt
to be effective.
