Hi,

I found that document and links to ubuntu as well.

So I know that in the past there was a wintv-hvr-1975 that was sold as
a wintv-hvr-1950 and later wintv-hvr-1955, which where compatible
(sorta)
There is now a wintv-hvr-1975 on the market that "might" be compatible.
But since I already own a completely useless hauppauge unit that was
linux compatible in most articles, except that mine had a different
chip which made it utterly useless on linux and I don't want to repeat
the experience.

So this question is for people who already own a wintv-hvr-1975
I'm talking about this device :
http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hvr1975.html
Could you please share your experience on linux with it ?

Cheers
Rob Verduijn
