When it happened to me on Comcast, about 8-9 years ago, it seemed like it
happened a week or two after the deadline, and I think it was a few
channels at a time. It happened while I was still struggling to get my IR
blasters working, so there were some recordings missed during that period.
I don't know when the process finished because I got everything working
shortly after (discovered I'd been sent a bad emitter) and stopped using
the analog tuner.
